The story of America's workers and the struggles they have endured to provide a decent wages, benefits, safe workplaces, and the political will for the passage of a host of laws for the betterment of working Americans is one of the bloodiest of any industrialized nation. IOWA FEDERATION OF LABOR, AFL-CIOLABOR HALL OF FAME Each year at convention, we honor union leaders by inducting up to three of them into the “Labor Hall of Fame.” There is a plaque honoring these inductees at the John L. Lewis Labor Museum in Lucas, Iowa. |
